From Talk to Action. 19 – 21 JUNE, 2019

The Nigeria-France Business and Investment Forum, organised by the Embassy of Nigeria in France, will take place in Abuja, Nigeria from 19^th -21^st June 2019.
The Forum themed ‘Investment Opportunities in Nigeria: From Talk to Action’, aims to facilitate the Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria for French companies and investors, through engagement with top economic policy makers and regulators in Nigeria.

The Forum is an initiative to build on the growing economic relations between France and Nigeria, as underscored during the recently concluded first meeting of the France Nigeria Investment Club, held on 21^st January, 2019 in Paris.

Decisions will be taken to further strengthen economic relations between both countries.

It is envisaged that the Nigeria-France Business and Investment Forum in Abuja will provide a platform for further interaction in areas of common economic interests that will increase trade activities between both countries.

The event officially kicks off with a visit to the Vice President and Guest of Honour, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Members of the National Economic Council (NEC) and the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), which includes high level officials of trade promotion and business regulatory agencies will highlight economic direction and steps the government is taking to promote business and increase investment in Nigeria.

State Government officials, leading entrepreneurs, and members of the France-Nigeria Investment Club will participate in the event. The Forum therefore will present a unique opportunity for french businesses to interact with policy makers, economic regulators and homegrown stakeholders.
